Maintenance Program

LEEWAY TOUR equipment is among the finest in the South. We are proud of our fleet, and work hard to maintain a high level of repeat rider ship through operating one of the cleanest, best maintained fleets anywhere. Our equipment is highly visible on the road and is in excellent mechanical condition.

Maintenance at Home
LEEWAY operates its own bay maintenance facility in Garnett, South Carolina. Our preventive maintenance program and regularly scheduled vehicle inspections help our company maintain one of the lowest out-of-service records in the nation.

Each vehicle receives preventive maintenance and is serviced every 5,000, 10,000 & 15,000 miles. Our maintenance staff before each multi-day trip mechanically inspects vehicles. In addition, every bus is pre-trip inspected by the driver before departure and after returning to the garage. All defects are recorded, reported, corrected and records are maintained in writing.

At LEEWAY, we prefer to purchase our vehicles brand new. By doing so, we know what our coaches have been through. We then maintain our vehicles in like-new condition. From our newest to the oldest, every coach receives the same excellent level of maintenance.

    Maintenance on the Road
No matter how well a vehicle is maintained, it will eventually breakdown - and at the worst possible moment. To minimize any inconvenience to our customers, LEEWAY TOUR has a nationwide reciprocal maintenance agreement with various parent companies, as well as through our participation in national and regional industry associations. Our combined preventative maintenance program and our reciprocal maintenance agreements help to assure that your group's trip will be as carefree as possible.
